On Thursday in the Loksabha Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for Road Transport & Highways, Informed in related to growth in sales of electric vehicle that India has registered overall 162 per cent growth in this year.
During the question hour in Lok sabha in the answer to a question Nitin Gadkari said sales of electric vehicle is increases day by day, there is lots of sales increasement is seen. Nitin Gadkari says that if we talk about two wheeler sales of two wheeler is increased by more than 5 times at 423 per cent, three wheelers sales increased by 75 percent, four wheeler is not in least number it’s in very high demand and increased by 238 per cent and buses are also by 1,250 per cent so as we are seeing the percentage growth it is a massive growth in field of electric vehicle..
In this year that is 2022 till March 13 the total number of electric vehicle are registered in India is 10,95,746 with 1,742 charging stations in across the India with different cities informed by the union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
After the information regarding the numbers registration Union Minister respond to a question that is related to battery capacity and battery swapping that we have set a standard of battery if any of the manufacturer is not follow the rules which is set or fix for battery manufacturing then action will be taken against the manufacturer. Nitin Gadkari informed about the battery status around 85 per cent of Lithium Iron battery is being manufactured in India.

If we talk about charging electric vehicles it will help to the environment in less pollution our priority is to use green energy.
