This article examines the key members of the Pushpa Impossible cast as the roles played and their impact on the show come under scrutiny.

Karuna Pandey as Pushpa Patel

Right at the centre of the show is Karuna Pandey in the title role of Pushpa Patel. Having years of experience in both TV and films, Karuna manages to bring this character alive with an outstanding blend of strength, vulnerability, and oodles of humor. Pushpa is an unlettered, middle-aged woman coming from a modest background, confronting innumerable challenges. The way Karuna has portrayed this powerful woman is certainly commendable and worth watching. She narrates each and every minute detail of Pushpa’s turmoil so eloquently that she makes Pushpa a very relatable character among the audience. Karuna Pandey is highly appreciated for her commanding lead on screen, which makes her one of the biggest strengths associated with the show.

Naveen Pandita as Ashwin Patel

Naveen Pandita plays the role of Ashwin Patel, the elder son of Pushpa. All the while, Ashwin seems more often to be caught between his family and his personal ambition on many an occasion, really responsible and caring. Naveen, who has been part of various television shows and web series, seems to carry out the character of Ashwin with much sincerity and depth. His chemistry with Karuna Pandey as his onscreen mother is one of the showstoppers. Ashwin is portrayed as a character who always tries to get his family out of a crisis when he himself has his own battles to be fought within. Naveen does a great job acting the role of this duty-bound son torn between his family responsibilities and personal aspirations that finds resonance with the audience to give more depth to the plot.

Deshna Dugad as Rashi Patel

Deshna Dugad plays Rashi Patel, the teen daughter of Pushpa. Rashi epitomizes the voice of a modern generation, independent, opinionated at times crossways with the conventional values of her mother. Deshna is the promising young talent in the industry, not leaving any stones unturned in essaying the complexities of teen lives as Rashi. On-screen changing equation with the mother Pushpa will form the important spine of the show, which is the generational gap and in due course the understanding that dissolves it. She has emerged as one of the leads in the ensemble cast. Because in her towering performance, she manages a delicate balance between the angry streak of rebellion in Rashi and her softer and more vulnerable self.

Darshan Gurjar as Chirag Patel

Chirag Patel is Pushpa’s second son, played by Darshan Gurjar, and true to form, is usually afflicted with being the middle sibling that gets dogged by his siblings. Chirag is a creative and free-spirited character, and Darshan does it with a lot of charm and wit. His character added light-heartedness and humor to the show, even while he went through his struggles with identity and acceptance. Darshan, who has worked in films and television, brought freshness into the role and made the character Chirag so lovable while providing comic relief whenever needed, with much deeper emotional arcs in play.

Bhakti Rathod as Radha Tai

Bhakti Rathod as Radha Tai has an important supporting role in which she brings much-needed warmth and wisdom into the plot.
Being the close confidante and friend of Pushpa, Radha Tai advises the protagonist both emotionally and on a practical level. Bhakti is an accomplished actress already with an influential presence in Gujarati theatre and television. Bringing realism and relatability into her role, at times it is Radha Tai who brings in the moral compass to the whole show and navigates the show through some of the tougher emotional beats. Bhakti naturally performs easy on screen and hence makes Radha Tai an important part of the Pushpa Impossible universe.

Sachin Parikh as Bapodara

Bapodara is an elaborate character; beneath the tough-looking and hard-nosed exterior, he has his share of insecurity and motivation. This role of Sachin, who has appeared in various television series and films, adds so many layers to Bapodara that he is much more than a routine bad boy. His interaction with Pushpa is always laced with tension but always reveals more depth about them. Sachin does bring an energetic feel to the serial and keeps the viewer in suspense because his character is quite unpredictable.

Garima Parihar as Deepti

Garima Parihar plays Deepti, the love interest for Ashwin Patel, yet is still a lead in her own right. Deepti is a professional, ambitious young woman who soon finds herself being an influence upon the Patel family-most specifically Pushpa. Garima plays Deepti with a large helping of poise and grace. Her character is thus highly likable and something to aspire towards. The way her character approaches her relationship with Ashwin, along with her slowly budding bond with Pushpa, makes for a serious part of the storyline. Garima, with her familiar face from various other shows, brings fresh charm to the character, hence making Deepti one of the viewer’s favorite leads.

Kabeer Kumar as Manish Parekh

His character often shows up as the voice of reason and adds weight to the role by Kabeer. The way Manish Parekh interacts with the Patel family, his ever-changing equation with Pushpa, is an important subplot in setting the tale of the story. Kabeer’s mature performance gives the much-needed gravitas to the character of Manish and makes him indispensable in this ensemble cast.
